What an incredible milestone! Through six faithful capital campaigns, St. Andrew has watched God’s vision for our ministry come to life. Our mortgage—once $5.8 million—now stands within reach of zero. Thanks to your extraordinary generosity, we have secured pledges that will allow us to eliminate our debt completely by the end of 2028—hopefully even by the end of 2027, when our loan comes up for refinancing. (Look below for updates on how we are doing.)


Imagine it: every dollar once spent on interest now flowing directly into mission, ministry, and care. Our leaders are already discerning how to redirect this generosity toward new opportunities for growth, outreach, and the next generation’s needs.


Through it all, one thing remains constant—our calling to “owe nothing but love.” Each pledge brings us closer to freedom, to faith unleashed, and to a future filled with possibility.

Capital campaign 2022-25

Rooted in Faith, Growing to Serve

As we near the close of our Rooted in Faith | Growing to Serve capital campaign, the St. Andrew community has much to celebrate. This three-year effort—ending in September—has been an incredible witness to generosity, faith, and shared vision.


As of June 30, 2025, you have given more than was pledged: over $1,075,000, exceeding our original goal by $30,000. These gifts have gone directly to reducing our building loan and supporting the church’s mission to serve Johnson County and beyond. Since October 2019, the loan principal has dropped by nearly $4 million, bringing our balance down to $1.8 million, with a favorable fixed rate through 2027. In addition, your faithful giving to the general budget, has allowed us to fund staff, maintain our building, and support ministry and outreach. 


Whether you've given weekly, annually, online, through stock, or by directing retirement distributions—thank you. You are part of what makes this congregation vibrant, grounded, and growing.


As we look ahead to our next campaign—Finish the Race | Owe Nothing But Love—we carry forward the same faith and hope that brought us here.

Connecting Hearts | Renewing Lives (2019-22)

Connecting Hearts, Renewing Lives is the theme of our 2019-22 Capital Campaign.  The theme comes from Romans 12:2, “Be transformed by the renewal of your minds, so that you may know the will of God — what is good and acceptable and perfect.”


The campaign lasts from October 2019 to September 2022.  We are raising funds to pay the church mortgage and reduce the overall debt our on our church building.  These funds are different from what we give to the general church budget and direct outreach programs.  As we give financially, we know that God is transforming our hearts and minds.  He wants to connect us to himself and to one another.  Through gifts of time and talent and finances, He renews our lives and the lives of others in the community.
