Music groups & Activities

Brass, flute, clarinet, and saxophone ensembles

Praise God with trumpet sound! ... with lute and harp! ... with tambourine and dance; ... with strings and pipe! ... with clanging cymbals; ... with loud clashing cymbals! (Psalm 150:3-5)

St. Andrew regularly offers opportunities for people to use their instrumental skills, whether they currently play or have not touched an instrument in years.

For more information about joining a group or offering to play a solo, contact Austen Wilson, Pat Penn, or Wes Habley.

Logos Choir

"O sing to the Lord a new song; sing to the Lord, all the earth. Sing to the Lord, bless God's name; tell of God's salvation from day to day. Declare God's glory among the nations, Gods marvelous works among all the peoples— Psalm 96:1-3

Logos is the Greek word for "Word" used in the Gospel of John used to refer to the "Word of God". The Logos Choir is a mixed choral ensemble that incorporates leading worship with music of diverse styles and learning about healthy singing habits. The Logos Choir sings during the 11 a.m. service most Sundays, September through May, and many special services each Advent and Lent. This choir is open to anyone in high school or oder interested in singing and praising God with their voice.
