- use music, art, and drama to bring Scripture to life
This workshop is hosted by St. Andrew Presbyterian Church for students (entering 4th-6th grade) from other churches and their ministry leaders. The workshop is filled with ideas to lead worship together during Advent 2016. The worship ideas we offer have been carried out at St. Andrew; now we want to share the possibilities with teams from other churches.
Registration Fee: $10 per student. No charge for adults. Two or more adults must attend each group of students. Registration fee covers materials, lunch for students and adults, snacks, and a resource packet for each church.
We'll explore what "worship" means, how we do it, and how to encourage others to worship joyfully. Students and adults will be immersed in interactive sessions to learn creative worship techniques, including liturgical drama, visual arts, and the weaving of Scripture and hymns. No previous experience or special talent is required. Click below for more information and for a registration form.
